RiRe Lipmanicure = Clio Lipnicure Rip-off???

Okay so normally I don't write a post like this but it's been bugging me for a while. I'm sure you all already know the widely famous Lipnicure by Clio and it turns out that it has its own impersonator. It's not by any means they're selling fakes of the lipnicure as they did with a lot of high-end cosmetic brands, but they're like plagiarizing the idea of lipnicure.

So I was casually browsing around the local online shop website and I found this product featured at the front page. My first thought was, are they selling lipnicure rip offs?? I mean...

Well, I have nothing else to say. I've researched about the brand name, RiRe, which is also from Korea but I found nothing and the search results mostly, if not all, related to this lipmanicure thing. I don't know why they copied the exact same concept as Clio and very blatant about the "plagiarism", just look at the name!  They even have their own top coat and lipmanicure remover 

Notice the "professional" written below it?This is actually a lot cheaper than the lipnicure, you can see it retails for 6,900 KRW but I don't think I want to buy it either even if it's any cheaper. I admit some of the colors are gorgeous though, especially the warm coral shade.

Since I didn't really dare to buy it, I couldn't give you any unbiased opinion about this product. Buuuuttt, I've looked around the local blogger's review about this product! You can check it out here, it's in Chinese but she provided lots of picture and it's very thorough. Apparently she got this product sponsored by RiRe, I don't know about others but I only found her review. My perception was that it's actually not really bad, but not good enough to be called the dupe of the lipnicure itself. I notice it also has a matte finish but the pigmentation sucks for certain shades. To me the biggest turn off is probably the packaging, it just screams cheap all over lol.

If you want to try this product, it's available at RoseRoseShop and Jolse (not affiliated with these sellers, just wanted to help you out guys!) and I say they're affordable! I don't know about people's responses in Korea but I guess a lot of people like it? I don't know if it's just their marketing ploy. Anyway I don't want to discourage all of you from buying this product or being unreasonably judmental but if you're a fan of Clio and Korean cosmetic in general you'd feel the same as I did.
