Products I've Used Up!

Hi guys! Guess who just got back from death? Lol.

How've you been people??? Wow... I've been missing for almost 3 years! Long story short, life happens. But I hope in the future I will have more motivation and material for this blog cause this is just... sad.

Okay so I won't write a review this time, maybe somewhere in the future, because I just can't keep up with rapidly evolving make up trends these days. There are so many new innovative products churning out from so many new make up brands, with all the collaboration and stuff. Whew. To be honest I only wear light and natural make up on daily basis anyway so it's kinda a waste to buy them and just keep them in my make up drawer until some mold grow out of it (gross hyperbole but you get the point).

Instead, I'm gonna share with you some products that I've used up in the past 3 months! (Since using up a product is a big achievement for me, apparently). Without further ado, let's go to the first one!

Lush Breath of Fresh Air & Tea Tree Water

These are the first products I've tried from Lush and they're both toners. I think I only bought them because they were on discount because they are quite pricy in Asia. They are okay I guess, I wouldn't purchase them again though. The thing I like about them is they are super refreshing and smell like aromatherapy. I used them after I take a shower or whenever I feel like my skin need some moisture.

Nature Republic Aloe Vera 90% Toner

Another toner, yes. At this point I should inform you that the skincare product I can't live without is in fact--not any cream or serum, but toners. This is by far one of my favorite toner ever. It cleans the residue of dirt/make up on my face really well and they have this cooling effect on my face. Plus it doesn't make my skin dry! I just wish they come out with bigger size because to be honest, this only last me for 3 months, and I switched this out sometimes with the Lush toners. Please, Nature Republic!

Alovivi Purevivi Cleansing Lotion
This product was also on my haul post 3 years ago. I used this up last year so this lasted me for about 2 years. I love this because it suits my oily and sensitive skin. It isn't harsh like make up wipes and not heavy like cleansing balm so this is perfect. I couldn't find this products in Indonesia though, so it doesn't look like I'll be repurchasing this. But I found a dupe which is The Saem White Tea Cleansing Water!

Skin79 Super+ Beblesh Balm Triple Function (Pink)

This is one of the classic BB cream and I've had this since 4 years ago (okay before you judge me, I will admit that I'd still wear make up products that are older than the artifacts if they're still good). Back then I didn't like this BB cream very much because the consistency is thicker and it looks greyish but I found myself reaching for this a lot in 2016. While my opinion didn't change on the consistency, I felt like it allows the product to spread and blend really well on my face and it doesn't look cakey. Anyway this product is like a gateway to Korean make up in general.

Eglips Blur Powder Pact & Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder Pact

These two are not technically empties, but more of 'hit the pan' kind of products. If you follow my blog from the start, you know my love for dewy looks and I rarely used powder. But now I've changed my preferences a lot, maybe because I've moved back to Indonesia again and it's really humid and hot here, so having dewy face feels so uncomfortable. It looks oily and your make up will just melt off right away once you go outside. These two are great, especially the Eglips one (if you notice Pony used this in a lot of her tutorial). It minimizes the appearance of your pores and surprisingly have good coverage as well. For the Innisfree one, it does its job really well but if we compare with other translucent powder, my pick is the Skinfood Peach Sake Powder cause it lasts all day!

That's for my empties post! Once again I'm really sorry for being M.I.A for a long time. Hope you enjoy this post! Until next time 😘
