Well guess who's back. I'm really sorry it's like the longest blogging break I've ever taken, but I've been really busy with my final thesis which hasn't been finished yet. So please accept my sincere apology! And I kinda miss you too guys :3 But of course while I was on break I didn't stop buying make up simultaneously lol. Etude House is having 50% sale on their new products so I definitely couldn't skip on that! One of the new products that I got is their newest Stay Up Foundation!

A mascara review? Hell yeah! I love mascaras now, though I don't really use it on a daily basis. But when I go out a mascara is definitely a must! Probably because I've bought an amazing eyelas curler from Shiseido and it really works wonder on my lashes, and a mascara perfects the look! Okay, on with the review!

RiRe Lipmanicure = Clio Lipnicure Rip-off???

Okay so normally I don't write a post like this but it's been bugging me for a while. I'm sure you all already know the widely famous Lipnicure by Clio and it turns out that it has its own impersonator. It's not by any means they're selling fakes of the lipnicure as they did with a lot of high-end cosmetic brands, but they're like plagiarizing the idea of lipnicure.

I have a long weekend in Taiwan and most of my friends are going out but I'm stuck here since I have a certificate exam for two days Anyway the first day is over, I have nothing to do now and tomorrow is just speaking test so I decided to write something on this blog. It's been a while too since I've been fully preoccupied this week with studying and school activities so you guys deserve a reward for waiting! Yeay!

Hi guys! How you doin'? I'm back with another lip product review this time, cause I can't seem to stop buying them, it's just something that's worth splurging on amirite? It's up to the point that my friends would stop me if I say I want to buy it and then I'd have to restrain myself lol. But what's online shopping is for, right? I could still buy them behind their back anyway *evil laugh* Soooo the product that I'm going to review is the new release from Peripera, Peri's Tint Cushion!

Do you even know how glad am I to be able to write something other than lip product reviews? I've been going through my post recently and like last 5 things I reviewed were lip products :S Well, aren't you glad too? Hahaha. Anyway this product is also featured on my March Haul post, but I just got the time to review it now. I rarely wear eyeshadows, I have minimum collection of eyeshadows, like, I can even count them with my fingers, with just one hand.

Woot guys I'm on a roll! Yes, still struggling with my final thesis, but the teacher hasn't sent me any e-mail so... Anyway, I haven't reviewed any non-Korean products for a long time. And guess what, today I'm gonna review a product from a renowned drugstore brand that's actually been around for a while, maybe since the end of last year? But when I found out about it I immediately thought I have to buy this! Then I was strolling around Watsons the other day, and I found this! It was on sale because it's a new arrival and I kinda  squealed internally but sadly I didn't bring any cash around so I thought maybe I'll comeback tomorrow but it wasn't on sale anymore :((((( But anyway I wasn't being disheartened by that and just went for it!

Hey guys! Please don't kill me! I know I've been M.I.A for a month and definitely something I'm not really proud of. I've promised you a lot more posts in 2014 and even made them to my new year resolution lists and a shortage of post for a month is definitely not a good sign. Well I need to make a good excuse for this, right? I was just enjoying my holiday in Indonesia and I didn't bring my laptop, and all of my data stored for making blog posts are ALL in there so... yeah. Well, I'm not since I'm in the middle of my final exam week when I'm writing this :( But on the other hand, after I finished it I'll get my long awaiting winter vacation! Yay! And this is just going to be a quick haul post, a few things I bought (not intentionally) around new year. So here it goes!

Tutorial: Simple Luminous Gradation Lips!

Hi guys! It's pretty late to wish you all a happy new year but hey, it's the thought that counts right? So I hereby wish you all a happy new year 2014~ I hope I can throw out some confettis here and add some fireworks effect along with the trumpet sounds, but anyway. So happy to finally greet you all with a new post on 2014! And without further ado, let's move on to the post!

I'm really excited for my first tutorial post ever! Probably most of you are very familiar with gradation lips, it's definitely the trend everywhere! While most are utilizing lip concealer/foundation and lip tints which have matte finish and a bit drying for some people, I'm going to use products that helps you achieve that luminous look while keeping your lips moisturized!

Okay, so as simple as it will be, you only need three products for this!

Left - Etude House Dear My Essence in Lips-Talk EBE102

Middle - Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 055 Adore

Right - Etude House XOXO Minnie Kissing Lips 02 Minnie Red

I finally can put the Etude House Essence Lips-Talk to good use, I didn't like it at first and even considered giving it away, but yay for finally figuring out how to use this! And the Revlon Balm Stain is my ultimate love, it's moisturizing and pigmented, also it lasts a really long time on your lips and leaves you a pretty stain! If you read my recent posts you must know already that the Minnie Lipstick is also my new love <3

So these three products won't make your lips feel dry or anything and they add a luscious effect on your lips. Now let's get the tutorial started! (You'll be surprised by how simple it is!)

First you need to apply the Etude House Dear My Essence in Lips-Talk all over your lips, as it will be the base color. I love that it has this nude color that's a little pale, just like when you're putting a lip concealer, except this one has a glossy finish! You can use your favorite nude lipstick for this! Make sure it's more of brownish/beige nude than pinkish nude :)

Then use the Revlon Balm Stain as your middle color, applying it to the 2/3 part of your lips to the center. It will leave you a subtle pinkish peach/orangey color even though it's redder when your applying it alone, because it mixes with your base lipstick! You can use any lipstick with orangey red color or light ginger red color for this!

It's the last step already guys!!! Now you can apply the bright red lipstick to the center part of your lips and it's done! You can always build the intensity of it but I like to keep it natural so I just lightly dab them onto my lips^^
