Review: Tony Moly Fresh Aqua Cooling 24 Eye Stick

Hai! I'm back to make up all the shortage of post the past month, and this is going to be just a simple and quick review for you! Let's go straight up to the product I'm going to review that is Tony Moly Fresh Aqua Cooling 24 Eye Stick. Is it just me or Tony Moly always have a long ass name for their products? Lol. (Add Etude House to the list too.)

Review: Tony Moly Backstage Gel Liner

Hi guys! Surprised to see me update this fast? Me too lol. I have lots of product reviews coming up for the next two weeks and hopefully I won't delay them again because I'll be pretty much occupied after that since mid terms week is coming along. Regardless, let's move on to the review! The product that I'm going to review today is Tony Moly Backstage Gel Liner in #1 Black!

Okay so first things first this picture was taken at a weird angle so the cap looks longer than it should be hahaha, but it's not that long really XD

Here's the view of the gel liner itself. It doesn't come with a box or even a plastic seal, just a tiny sticker that connected the cap and the tube packaging which I've already removed. It'd be nice if they come up with seals though, just to make sure your product is fully protected.

I got this in #1 Black, and I believe they come with another 8 colors, which I found pretty awesome! They probably have the most color selections any gel liner can offer. And since it didn't come with any boxes I can't find any description of the product on the packaging. Oh well then we have to see how it works for ourselves!

So this does come with a brush on the cap that can be elongated. But I don't really use the brush that much since I found that it's too thick and pretty hard to control. I usually use my Etude House Concealer and Eyeliner Brush (see my July Haul post!) to achieve a thin cat eye look. (If you're curious about the nail polish I'm wearing, it's Etude House Color Pop Nails in CGR702!)

So this is the swatch on my hand! The texture is so creamy and glides on smoothly on your skin! And I really love that it's really pigmented! It also dries up pretty quickly, so you don't have to worry when you accidentally touch or rub your eyelids after applying this. And since it claims to be waterproof let's try the water test!

Urgh, sorry for the blur picture! But you can see that the liner didn't budge at all! I put my hand under the running water for a few seconds and it still looked as good as I was first applying it. So this passed the waterproof test!

And this is what happened when I rubbed them harshly for 5 times. You can see it smudges and it's kinda flaky (probably since my hand is wet after I put it under the water). But most of the liner stay nicely on my skin.

I know it's not a good picture but this is how it looks on my eyelid. You can see some harsh lines above the liner because I was putting them in a hurry before going out >,< This eyeliner is pretty strong, it can stay for a good 4-5 hours when I'm in a air-conditioned room, but when I use it outdoors it smudges after like 3 hours. But it's just my eyelids that are super oily though. Even the strongest eyeliner will transfer to my under eye after a few hours, and I really despise that but I'm still wearing them anyways.

So to give my final score, I'll give it a 3,9 out of 5. This is a good eyeliner for its price and for what it claims, but it doesn't quite fulfill what I'm looking for in an eyeliner.

(-) Insufficient brush

(-) Can be a pain in the ass to remove if applied to thick
